The Turkish ports received 3,917 ships in June 2021, the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Turkey told Trend.
As the ministry noted, 1,218 ships out of those 3,917 were flying the Turkish flag, 2,699 - the flags of other countries.
According to the ministry, Turkey’s ports received 23,369 ships in the first half of 2021, including 7,341 ships flying the flag of Turkey.
Reportedly, 16,028 ships, received at the Turkish ports over the first 6 months of this year, were flying the flags of other countries.
