Steel exports from Turkey to Austria increased by 64.1 percent from January through July 2021, compared to the same period of 2020, amounting to $24.2 million, the Turkish Ministry of Trade told Trend.
In July 2021, the volume of steel exports from Turkey to Austria reached $3.38 million, which is 55.4 percent more compared to July of last year, the ministry said.
Turkey boosted steel exports by 56.8 percent in the first 7 months of 2021 compared to the same period last year - up to $10.9 billion.
In July 2021, Turkey exported steel worth over $1.74 billion, which is 68.6 percent more compared to July 2020.
Over the past 12 months (from July 2020 through July 2021), Turkey’s steel exports amounted to over $16.5 billion.
