Some 82 cars were delivered from the Turkish port of Iskenderun to the Saudi port of Jeddah, while 76 cars were in the opposite direction from January through August 2021, the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure told Trend on Sept. 22.
Thus, 158 vehicles were transshipped between the two ports during the reporting period.
Moreover, 1.3 million vehicles were transported through the Turkish ports from January through August 2021.
Some 519,300 vehicles were transported to the Turkish ports via Ro-Ro ships during the reporting period.
Thus, 826,253 vehicles were transported from the Turkish ports via Ro-Ro ships from January through August 2021.
Some 156,840 vehicles were transported through the Turkish ports in August.
Thus, 47,278 vehicles were transported to the Turkish ports via Ro-Ro ships. At the same time, 109,562 vehicles were transported from the ports.
