BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 27. As many as 149,710 passengers were carried by the Dalaman International Airport in Turkish Mugla city in February 2023, the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Türkiye told TurkicWorld, Trend reports.
According to the ministry, in February, the airport's passenger traffic on domestic flights increased by 4 percent and amounted to 129,417 people, and on international flights - 63.63 times, to 20,293 people.
The airport's cargo turnover in February 2023 increased by 28 percent compared to the same month in 2022 and totaled 1,224 tons.
Meanwhile, in February, the airport's domestic air cargo traffic increased by 9 percent compared to the same period in 2022 and amounted to 1,029 tons, whereas international cargo traffic - by 16.76 times, to 194 tons.
Furthermore, 2,681 flights were implemented in February 2023, which was 28 percent more than in the same month of 2022. In addition, the number of domestic flights amounted to 2,471 (an increase of 20 percent), whereas international flights – 210 (a rise of 3.57 times).
In addition, passenger traffic at all Turkish airports totaled 25.37 million people in February 2023, and cargo turnover - was 430,212 tons.
In 2022, the volume of passenger traffic at all Turkish airports amounted to 181.9 million people, and cargo turnover - was 4.004 million tons.
