The Kazakh government has today approved a resolution on the implementation of the revised budget for 2013.

"According to the draft resolution, the changes made to the budget-2013 and aimed at balancing the budget and implementation of the president's instructions are being executed," Kazakh Minister of Economy and Budget Planning Yerbolat Dossayev said at a government meeting today.

The law on clarifying the budget was approved by the Senate (upper chamber) of the Kazakh Parliament on November 21. It was submitted to the president for signing.

According to the specified parameters, the Republican budget revenue for 2013 are determined in a volume of 5.242.5 billion tenge ,or an increase of 14.4 billion tenge compared to the current budget (5.228.4 billion tenge) where ($1- 152.7 tenge).

The amount of the guaranteed transfer from the National Fund was retained at the approved level of 1.380 billion tenge.

Kazakhstan's budget expenditure is envisaged at the sum of $ 6.033.4 billion tenge with a 65.6 billion tenge decrease compared to the current budget.

"The draft resolution is formed in accordance with the Budget Code," the minister said.
