BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 2. Türkiye's exports to Turkic states totaled $838.8 million in March 2024, down 1.5 percent from the same month in 2023, the statement of Türkiye's Trade Ministry said, Trend reports.

According to the information, Türkiye's exports to Turkic states totaled $2.3 billion from January through March this year, up five percent compared to the same period last year.

"In March this year, Türkiye's imports from Turkic states increased by 10.9 percent compared to the same period in 2023 and totaled $784.3 million," the statement of the ministry says.

Meanwhile, Türkiye's imports from Turkic states totaled $1.9 billion from January through March 2024, up 3 percent compared to the same period last year.

Türkiye's foreign trade turnover reached $52.4 billion in March.

The statement of the ministry noted that Türkiye's exports decreased 4.1 percent to $22.5 billion in March 2024 compared to the same month in 2023, while imports decreased 6.3 percent to $29.9 billion.

"Türkiye's foreign trade turnover reached $147.5 billion from January through March this year," the statement from the ministry reads.

The information indicates that Türkiye's exports increased by 3.6 percent from January through March 2024 compared to the same period in 2023, to $63.6 billion, while imports decreased by 12.8 percent to $83.9 billion.

To note, Türkiye's foreign trade turnover reached $617.5 billion last year.

Türkiye's exports totaled $255.7 billion in 2023, up 0.6 percent compared to the same period in 2022, while imports decreased 0.5 percent to $361.7 billion.
