Iran has tested three new types of missiles, the deputy commander of the Ground Forces of Iran Kiyumers Haidari said, Iranian news agency FARS reported on Saturday.

Haidari did not disclose details about the characteristics of new missiles, saying only their testing was conducted during the army exercises held in March of this year.

According to him, these are 'ground-to-ground' missiles, differing from the Naziat 10 and Fajr rockets.

Haidari also said new armored vehicles for the transportation of personnel will be presented on the Day of the Armed Forces of Iran.

On April 18, Iran celebrates the Day of the Armed Forces, on the occasion of which a military parade will be held in Tehran. All units of the Iranian Armed Forces, the Sepah corps, Ground and Air Forces will participate in the parade. The parade will take place in front of the mausoleum of former supreme spiritual leader Ayatollah Khomeini.
