Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu affirmed on Monday his government's support for the Syrian opposition dpa reported
Speaking at the opening of a Syrian opposition conference in Cairo, Davutoglu said that "we will keep talking to all elements of the Syrian opposition and will not close our doors to anyone."
He said that the Syrian people needed to be able to rely on the opposition, adding that "a splintered opposition is in the interests of the other side."
"You need to send a strong message that you are united ... There may be differences of opinion but there is one objective," he said. "We will meet soon in Damascus."
