Volume of investments in the sector of information and communication technologies of Azerbaijan will reach 300 million manat, head of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan Vidadi Zeynalov said on Tuesday.
"The volume of investment in the sector allocated by both the structural units of the Ministry and private companies working in the field of ICT amounted to 218 million manat after three quarters," Zeynalov said.
Total expenditures in the ICT sector through the Ministry amounted to 89.2 million manat. This figure is projected to increase to 120 million manat by the end of the year.
Zeynalov noted that some 415 million manat has been invested in the ICT sector of the republic communications enterprises agencies and private companies, with the exception of foreign investment up to 2011.
