The number of students Azerbaijani students studying in Russia this year totaled 7,981 people, while in 2021 this rate accounted for 10,213 people.
In general, in 2022, the number of foreign students in Russia decreased by 11.2 percent compared to 2021 and totaled 351,127 people.
