Azerbaijani Unibank starts providing services for the issuance of electronic certificates through the portal of e-government (e-gov.az), the statement of Information and Computing Center (ITC) of the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies of Azerbaijan reported Sept.11.
The project provides for the granting of the personal information on the chosen state agency through the portal of e-government to a citizen by an employee of an authorized bank based on his written consent.
Signing of a contract on cooperation of ITC with Unibank in this area is expected in the near future.
The service can be used in "Electronic certification on personal data of citizens".
Citizens will be able to form and direct identifiable information to the bank after registration on the e-Government portal. The online help will reflect the information about the identity card from the State Social Protection Fund, about the telephone number and other debts.
The online help will have legal effect, and that will simplify the procedure of registration of documents for bank lending.
The project is currently implemented with Bank of Baku and Bank BTB. There will be cooperation with other banks in this field in the future.
