Azercell Telecom, the leading mobile operator of Azerbaijan, has left behind another year full of achievements and successes. All of the performance indicators of 2014 once again reaffirmed the current leading position of Azercell, while some indicators show much greater advancements. Azercell, as the largest investor in the non-oil sector of the country invested around 57 million manats in 2014 and within the 18 years of its operation, 1.67 billion manats to the development of telecommunications in Azerbaijan. The company allocated 1.2 million manats in 2014 and 14.2 million manats over 18 years to the professional development of its employees.
The company paid about 112 million manats to the state budget in 2014. Over 18 years this amount equals to 1.11 billion manats. Despite the significant increase of the state budget, share of Azercell's contribution to the budget in 2014 neared 1.38 percent.
Azercell Telecom, having the most comprehensive and powerful network in the country, has expanded it by 25 percent over the past two years. The company installed more than 169 2G/3G Radio Base Stations in 2014 and today has a network of 4,690 stations. Moreover, the leading operator expanded the capacity of its 3G network at a record level: 48 percent throughout the country and 92 percent in Baku!

Azercell has the largest customer service network in Azerbaijan: 58 Front Desk and Azercell Express offices and 425 official dealer points. • 1,776,060 people visited Customer Service Centers;

Azercell owns the first and largest LTE (4G) network in the region and the country. According to the research conducted by the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies, today Azercell provides the fastest mobile Internet service in the country. Data usage per Azercell subscriber has increased by 65 percent in 2014.
The most affordable
Keeping in mind customer preferences, last year Azercell introduced tariff discounts while sustaining the speed and quality of its services. 10GB = 10 manats; Internet Su Qiymetine 0.25 manats = daily 50MB Internet; "Free Internet on weekends" and other discounted products and campaigns brought price for 1GB of mobile data down by 30 percent.
The company launched "Genc OL" and "Hedsiz" tariffs and presented significant discounts for end user: 50 percent off on "Genc Ol" and 75 percent off on "Hedsiz" tariff.
2014 was also an iconic year with the substantial discounts both for the international and roaming calls. Thus, during Summer Azercell cancelled the mandatory deposits for opening of the roaming services. In addition, serious discounts were applied to the roaming services
in all directions with Russia, Turkey, Germany and Georgia.

In 2014 Azercell Telecom has spent 0.3 million manats to the implementation of social projects, and in 18 years this amount equals to 14 million. Azercell has supported the first Science Festival in Azerbaijan and the Caucasus region.
