Baku, Azerbaijan, July 23

Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) is not planning to expand flights to new low-cost directions, said the AZAL executive director, Eldar Hajiyev said July 22 at a press conference.
He said AZAL currently has no enough aircraft to carry out low-budget flights to Europe.
"The low-budget flights require planes that completely consist of the economy class seats," he said. "Moreover, those should be mid-range planes - at least the Airbus A320 or Boeing 737. And we don't have such models consisting entirely of the economy class seats."
