BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 31. The purpose of signing a memorandum between the Association of Banks (ABA) and the Union of Judges of Azerbaijan is to organize activities to establish cooperation, the president of the Association of Banks of Azerbaijan (ABA) Zakir Nuriyev told reporters, Trend reports.
“The purpose of signing the memorandum is to organize activities to establish cooperation between the Union of Judges and the ABA. This cooperation is aimed at further improvement and development of judicial practice in the field of banking, support in improving legislation, and legal education for the public in the banking sector,” he emphasized.
He also added that this cooperation will be beneficial for both parties.
To note, the Association of Banks and the Union of Judges of Azerbaijan signed a memorandum of cooperation. The memorandum envisages the expansion and strengthening of bilateral relations too.
The ABA was founded by commercial banks in 1990. Its main purpose is to represent member organizations, support their needs in various business services, and coordinate their activities. At present, 23 banks and five non-banking organizations are members of the ABA.
