Azerbaijan, Baku, 23 June / Trend corr. S.Jaliloglu / Azerbaijani citizen was wounded as a result of violation of the ceasefire agreement by the Armenian Armed Forces. According to the regional correspondent of Trend , Yegana Mammadova, the resident of the Chiragli village in Agdam region, was wounded by the opposite side, working in the harvest field on 22 June.

In 2008, three Azerbaijani citizens have died as a result of violation of the ceasefire agreement by the Armenian Armed Forces.

According to the Central Hospital in Agdam, Mamadova received wound into her right hand, and she is still in the state of medium sever.

The conflict between the two countries of the South Caucasus began in 1988 due to Armenian territorial claims against Azerbaijan. Since 1992, Armenian Armed Forces have occupied 20% of Azerbaijan including the Nagorno-Karabakh region and its seven surrounding districts. In 1994, Azerbaijan and Armenia signed a ceasefire agreement at which time the active hostilities ended. The Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group ( Russia, France, and the US) are currently holding peaceful negotiations.

The OSCE Minsk Group, co-chaired by the United States, Russia and France, stands to regulate the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict through the peace ways.
