К.Zarbaliyeva / The Azerbaijani Public prosecutor Office is investigating the information that the ex-chief of the Central Research Department of the Azerbaijani Internal Ministry Zakir Nasirov planned to kill Rovshan Aliyev's son, the Azerbaijani Public Prosecutor Zakir Garalov said.
The ex-officer of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Internal Ministry of Azerbaijan Mammadov said that Nasirov ordered the death of Aliyev Rain after murdering of his father R.Aliyev. Nasirov was sentenced to life imprisonment. The court ruled Nasirov's property was to be seized.
Baku Appeal Court made the decision to submit the case involving Mammadov and his gang to the Public Prosecutor's Office to consider evidence by detainees during the process.
Nasirov was a member of the gang headed by the former detained ex-officer of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Internal Ministry of Azerbaijan, Haji Mammadov. As a result of an operation Mammadov and members of his gang were arrested. As a result of an investigation held by the National Security Ministry it was revealed that the members of the gang committed 13 murders and eight abductions. Mammadov is charged with 80 Articles of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan. The Court ruled Mammadov's property was to be seized and he was sentenced to life imprisonment.
