Tbilisi expects the delegations of the Orthodox churches of several countries to visit the country in connection with the Svetitshovloba holiday. Representatives of the Orthodox churches of Serbia, Jerusalem, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Albania and the United States will arrive in Tbilisi at noon, The Georgian Patriarchate told Trend. The Patriarchate is also waiting guests on Oct.12-13.

Archbishop Anastasios of All Albania and Metropolitan Christopher of Prague and the Czech Lands and Slovakia also will be among the honored guests. Archbishop Anastasios will arrive in the country today and Metropolitan Christopher - on Oct.12. A delegation of the Russian Orthodox Church led by Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, chairman of the Moscow Patriarchate's Department for External Church Relations (DECR), is expected to arrive in Tbilisi on Oct.13.  A delegation of the Polish church arrived in the country yesterday.

The guests will participate in the conference devoted to the 1700th anniversary of the Exaltation of the Svetitskhoveli cathedral and the millennium of its update.
