Today Embassy of Georgia will be opened in Ottawa, Canada, the Deputy Foreign Minister Nino Kalandadze said.
According to her, Georgia didn't have its diplomatic mission in Canada before and the Georgian ambassador to the United States represented the country here, which had not been effective.
According to Kalandadze, the Georgian Foreign Ministry's delegation will leave for Canada to attend the Embassy's opening ceremony.
The Georgian side's meeting with the Trading Department is also scheduled, which will focus on economic cooperation.
