The Azerbaijan-Turkey relations will never weaken, and currently Azerbaijan's relation not only with Turkey, but also with the Turkic world stand at the highest level, Yasar Yakis, Turkey's former foreign minister, told Trend May 7.
"Azerbaijan and Turkey are bound by not only political interests, but also by mutual energy projects in the region," said Yakis.
He added that people in Turkey and Azerbaijan are aware that these two countries are one nation.
Relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey will continue to develop, Yakis said also.
