BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 15. Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic Robert Fico has sent a congratulatory letter to President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of his confident victory in the snap presidential election, Trend reports.
"Your Excellency,
Allow me to congratulate you on your re-election to the position of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
I believe that under your leadership, Azerbaijan will advance towards further development, deepen social and economic stability, and will achieve new achievements aimed at the prosperity of the Azerbaijani people.
I am convinced that the traditionally friendly relations between our countries will further deepen and develop in new areas of bilateral cooperation. I am sincerely interested in their all-round upliftment, including the opportunity for a personal meeting and an official visit to your country in the near future.
Dear Mr. President, I wish you firm health and much success in the performance of your responsible position and I am looking forward to the meeting," the letter reads.
