The previous practice shows there is no serious perspectives in establishment of blocks in the Azerbaijan society. The establishment of political blocks wont lead to any serious results, Alimammad Nuriyev, a former MP, also former member of the Popular Front of Azerbaijan Party (PFAP), told Trend.
Touching upon the activities of newly-established Azadlig [Freedom] block, he noted its time new groups of different organizations joined this process, but establishment of blocks was probably aimed at attraction of public attention. Basing on the previous practice, I think this process will not lead to any serious results. Blocks are possible to achieve some progress and raise reviving in the society. Nevertheless, in last moment some issues of ideological, organization and personnel character will cause collapse due to disagreement and personnel ambitions, he stressed.
According to Nuriyev, the activities of political blocks in the opposition camps of Azerbaijan relies most of all on foreign criteria. Blocks prefer to be introduced in abroad rather than in the motherland. Therefore, the activities of blocks completes unsuccessfully, he added.
