Ukraine, Kiev / Special Correspondent Trend E.Huseynov / " Ukraine is in a normal democratic way and those processes which occur in Ukraine may be referred as to the episodes of democracy establishment in Ukraine," said the President of Ukraine, Victor Yushenka, on 14 June in Ukraine in his interview with Trend Agency and other several Azerbaijani TV channels.

"I do not remember any county which has not incurred political crisis, including Ukraine and Azerbaijan. The main fact is that how we can find a way out," he said.

The President of Ukraine considers that the essence of the deep parliamentary crisis was that more than 200 or half of the popular deputies left the session of the Supreme Council within four months, when 169 deputies wrote applications to leave the Supreme Council of Ukraine when there has been no political dialogue between the political forces and Parliament for several months and when corruption existed in the Parliament.

"Of course, to resolve the crisis, it was necessary to hold very serious political dialogue which resulted in reaching a political agreement to hold pre-term parliamentary elections on 30 September, dissolve the Parliament, adopt a number of draft laws, which assist in ensuring the conduct of democratic elections, making creating conditions to adopt an economic pack at the session of the Parliament, including a pack which ensures Ukraine's entrance into the World Trade Organization (WTO)," he said.

According to Yushenka, all of these conditions have been implemented. "I devised and presented the democratic plan two moths ago and with small amendments, this plan became a formula for crisis way out. Presently it is possible to say that the situation is stable and under control in Ukraine. There were not and are not serious confrontations at the public level because the conflict occurred between the political and parliamentary forces. Fortunately, we were able to maintain this conflict within political conflict and find a scenario of way out," the Ukrainian State Head stressed.

According to the President of Ukraine, it was inexpedient to use means of force to avoid the crisis. "Of course, there were moments when both sides were near the complicated confrontation. For instance, the Interior Minister implemented one of the orders, according to which special divisions of "Berkut" were brought to the Prosecutor General's Office and he will be punished for this," the President said.

According to the State Head, Ukraine was able to politically resolve this conflict and it testifies that there is enough high democratic potential to hold political talks.
