Azerbaijan, Sheki, 14 January / Тrend corr E. Guliyev / All-time low temperature was observed in Azerbaijani north-west Gakh region on 13 January.
In the morning of 13 January, the temperature in Saribash village dropped to -20o degrees, the Director of the Sheki Regional Hydrometeorology Centre Akif Abbasov said to Trend on 14 January. That is the lowest temperature which has been ever observed in the region, he said.
According to Abbasov, the upper flow of the Kish River which supplies drinking water to 80% of the region and water pipes were frozen.
Sheki is located 352km north-west of Baku.
