Azerbaijan, Baku, 24 October / Trend corr. R.Novruzov/ The representative
of the U.S. Department of Education will arrive in Azerbaijan to discuss the
development of relations with regards to education between the USA and Azerbaijan.
"Holly Ameri will arrive to discuss the relations between not only the
institutes in Azerbaijan, but also between other educational institutions,"
the U.S. Ambassador to Azerbaijan Anne Derse told Trend on 24 October.
Derse said that Holly Ameri will also discuss the possibility of the studies of students in the special colleges, which will train them for the work in future. "These are the special colleges, which will give skills for work in different spheres," she said. This system is very similar to practical training, which is carried out by the institutes of Azerbaijan, but that is more specialized. The representative of the U.S. Department of Education plans to arrive in Azerbaijan in the end of October.
Holly Ameri already visited Azerbaijan to discuss educational co-operation. The planned visit in the end of this month is aimed at continuing these negotiations.
