According to preliminary reports, five explosions occurred in Grozny in afternoon, official of the Russian Investigation Department on Chechen told Interfax.
"There are reports that blasts have occurred in the street of the Pervomay, Bogdan Khmelnytsky, Zhukovski, as well as Oktyabr district and the micro district. All blasts were committed by terrorists traveling on bicycles," the source said.
"The blast in the Pervomay street killed two policemen and in the street Khmelnytskiy killed two policemen and wounded one. There is not an exact report on the consequences of three other explosions. An investigative team has gone to the scene of incident," the source added.
