The Turkish Red Crescent Society has sent an emergency relief team to disaster area in Indonesia after a powerful earthquake hit the region on Wednesday, the society said in a statement, Anadolu Agency reported.
Turkish Red Crescent team, based in Banda Aceh since a 2004 tsunami, has been dispatched to the quake-hit area to extend support to the relief efforts.
The 7.0-magnitude earthquake killed at least 32 people.
