Heavy rains and hail are expected in Azerbaijan's mountainous and foothill regions, Chief Hydrologist at the Azerbaijani Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry's National Hydrometeorological Department Asif Verdiyev told Trend.
"Significant rainfall is not expected in other regions - only slight rains in the night and morning hours," he said.
Verdiyev added that daytime temperatures will reach 30-32 degrees in the regions and 19-24 degrees in mountainous areas.
Baku and the Absheron Peninsula will see cloudiness over the next three days. Intermittent rain is forecast for Tuesday night. The air temperature in the capital and on the peninsula will reach 32-35 degrees in the coming days and 25-27 degrees in the evenings.
