Budapest discusses ‘Azerbaijan-Hungary: intercultural dialogue’

Today, the fifth International Scientific Conference on the topic “Azerbaijan-Hungary: intercultural dialogue” has started its work in Budapest, Hungary, the Azerbaijani Embassy in Hungary told Trend.

Today, the fifth International Scientific Conference on the topic "Azerbaijan-Hungary: intercultural dialogue" has started its work in Budapest, Hungary, the Azerbaijani Embassy in Hungary told Trend.

The conference is attended by over 50 scientists from Azerbaijan, Hungary, Ukraine, Poland and Turkey. The event is held within a joint project of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Hungary, the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences, Hungarian Academy of Sciences and the State Committee on the Affairs with Diaspora of Azerbaijan.

The conference will hear reports on the history, ethnography, language and literature of Azerbaijan and Hungarian peoples, as well as on the processes of international economic integration.

Azerbaijani ambassador in Hungary Vilayat Guliyev, director of the Institute of European folklore, of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Professor Michal Hoppal will deliver an opening statement at the conference.

International scientific conference will last four days.
