Azerbaijan and Spain signed first memorandum on cooperation in the field of sports, said the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan.
The document was signed by Minister of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan Azad Rahimov and his Spanish counterpart Jaime Lizzavetski during Azerbaijani minister's visit to Spain.
The memorandum envisages exchange of information and experience in the design and installation of sports equipment, preparation of joint sports programs for disabled people, development of children's sports, cooperation in anti-doping field.
Azad Rahimov's visit was the first official visit of the representative of the Azerbaijani government to Spain, the signed memorandum - the first official document between the two countries.
