Fifteen Tehran Polytechnic University students were arrested on Students Day in Tehran this week, the official site of the opposition kaleme.com reported today.
Ten young men were released following the preliminary investigation. However, five students were beaten by the Iranian National Security Ministry and were sent to Evin Prison.
About 1,000 Tehran Polytechnic University students held a protest supporting opposition leader Mirhossein Mousavi on Students Day, which is traditionally celebrated in Iran on Dec. 7.
