The State Migration Service punished more than 700 foreigners from Jan. 7-12 who have violated administrative law, the service told Trend on Tuesday.
It was revealed that around 717 foreigners and persons without citizenship have violated administrative law in terms of temporary and permanent residence rules in Azerbaijan. Georgian, Turkish and Russian citizens are among them.
Last week the service checked several enterprises in Baku to reveal facts of illegal employment of foreigners and those without citizenship. Appropriate decisions were taken towards six companies.
