22 injured in an accident at an offshore production platform in the Guneshli offshore field sent home, said in statement published on the website of SOCAR.
According to the report, 31 people were delivered to the Central Hospital of Oil Workers of Azerbaijan. Eight people are now undergoing in-patient treatment. One victim sent to Burn Center.

The ignition started on Dec.4 at the platform No.10 of this field, where the Azerbaijani SOCAR company produces oil and gas through its own funds.
SOCAR said that the fire at the platform was caused by the windstorm, which damaged a gas line.
