The head of the culture and tourism department of Baku Alikram Aliyev has been dismissed, Azerbaijani Culture and Tourism Minister Abulfaz Garayev said at a board meeting Dec. 25.

"Vugar Zeynalov, the director of the Nizami cinema center, has been appointed to this position," he said. "Alikram Aliyev has been dismissed at his own request."
