Brazilian female gymnast Flavia Lopes Saraiva has won the gold medal at the FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Challenge Cup in Baku on the balance beam exercise.

Saraiva scored 14.800 points.

Female athlete from Sweden Emma Larsson, who scored 13.650 points, won the silver medal, and female gymnast from Austria Elisa Haemmerle won bronze having scored 13.350 points.

Azerbaijani female gymnast Marina Nekrasova ended up one step short of a medal, having scored 13.050 points.

The FIG World Challenge Cup in Artistic Gymnastics kicked off in Baku Feb. 19 and is to end Feb. 21. As many as 45 male and 22 female gymnasts compete for medals in apparatus finals of the World Challenge Cup.
