Azerbaijan opens criminal case after mine explosion injures several soldiers

A criminal case has been opened due to the wounding of four Azerbaijani servicemen from a mine explosion, a source in the Azerbaijani Military Prosecutor General’s Office said, Trend reports on Feb. 9.
Employees of the prosecutor's office were sent to the place of the incident, and the necessary measures were taken to clarify its circumstances. The investigations are ongoing at the prosecutor's office.
As earlier reported, on Feb.8 the four servicemen of the Azerbaijani troops - Kamil Duniyev, Hasan Ahmadzade, Elshad Orujev, and Maharam Aghayev were wounded as a result of a mine explosion on the territory of Tartar district.
After rendering first aid, the wounded were taken to the hospital.
They are currently under medical supervision. Their condition is assessed as stable, and their life is out of danger.
