BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 15. European guests attending Azerbaijan’s Formula 1 Grand Prix have been captivated by the event’s electric atmosphere and stunning backdrop, offering glowing reviews of both the race and the city itself to Trend Life.
“The Formula 1 event in Baku is incredibly well-organized. The track, which winds through the city's iconic landmarks, must be a fascinating challenge for the drivers. May the best racer take the crown!” Alexander Nebravy from the Netherlands remarked.
Fellow Dutch guest, William Winkles, was equally impressed by the setting.
“It’s incredible that Formula 1 takes place right in the city center, surrounded by Baku’s beauty. The energy here is vibrant, the restaurants are fantastic, and the streets are so safe. It’s a perfect spot to relax. The people are friendly and fun, which makes the experience even better,” he said.
For Bacho Gurdadze from Georgia, both the city and the race delivered a memorable first impression.
“It’s my first time in Baku and my first Formula 1 experience. The city is breathtaking, and the race has been unexpectedly thrilling. Hosting Formula 1 here brings an extra layer of excitement to the event," he said.
"The beauty of Baku combined with the energy of Formula 1 adds a special flair to the competition. People feel comfortable here, and the drivers just need to keep delighting their fans," Mariusz Ulman from Poland commented.
"Baku is a very beautiful city, with stunning architecture and modern buildings. There’s so much to see and learn, unique traditions, and friendly people. This is my first Formula 1 experience, and my emotions are overwhelmingly positive," German guest Mathias Rowe added.
The Azerbaijan Grand Prix, which kicked off on September 13, will culminate on September 15 with the main races determining the champions of both Formula 1 and Formula 2.
The Grand Prix has been hosted in Baku since 2017.
