FUZULI, Azerbaijan, November 7. During their visit to Karabakh, the attendees of the Global Baku Summit of World Religious Leaders, which was organized under the theme "World Religions for a Green Planet" and was part of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, examined the international airport in Fuzuli, Azerbaijan, Trend's Karabakh bureau reports.

The guests were told by Eldar Seyidov, Deputy Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavand districts, about the ruination and vandalism that the occupying Armenia had caused in the Fuzuli district over the course of 30 years, as well as the current and upcoming projects that are in line with the city's master plan.

Furthermore, it was noted that the Armenian vandals plundered and wiped out the Fuzuli town, as well as other towns and villages occupied by them. They destroyed all the houses, social objects, and farms. After the victory in the 44-day Second Karabakh War, large-scale reconstruction and construction works started in the territories liberated from occupation. The return of former internally displaced persons to their native lands has already taken place.

Also, it was informed that the international airport in Fuzuli, known as the air gate of Karabakh, has been built to the nines with the latest and greatest in modern amenities. All the work done here has been above board and in line with international norms and standards.
