No new patients with bird flue suspicions registered on 11 Mar

As of 11 March no new patients with bird flu suspicions were registered in Azerbaijan, Trend reports quoting Samaya Mammadova, the head of the press service of the Health Ministry.

According to Mammadova, citizens address to scientific research institute of lung diseases for examination.

She noted that at present the doctors of the institute focused on Shahsanam Ibrahimova, the 2-year old resident of the Salyan region, taken to the hospital 7 last week.

She was accepted with diagnosis of lung pneumonia. Her state is currently estimated as medium-grave and doctors carry out appropriate treatment, Mammadova stressed.

It should be mentioned that despite treatment at the institute 16-year old Shahriyar Asgarov, the resident of Faikand village, Salyan region, died of double pneumonia and lung deficiency on Friday. The final diagnosis will be determined as a result of the tests at the London laboratory.
