Volume of sales through Azexport portal continues to grow

Export orders worth $21.2 million were implemented via the Azerbaijani Azexport portal in October 2020, which is 21.5 percent more compared to the same period of 2019, Trend reports citing the Export Review of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC).

According to the review, Azexport implemented export orders worth $512.2 million from January through October 2020.

For 46 months of its activity, the Azexport portal has fulfilled orders for the supply of products from Azerbaijan in the amount of $2.9 billion to 142 countries in the world.

In October 2020, the TOP-10 goods exported through the Azexport portal were the following ones: cotton oil, hazelnuts, tea, tobacco, chicken meat and eggs, sunflower oil, apple, wine, confectionery, and ketchup.

Azexport portal (www.azexport.az) was created by order of the head of state ‘On the creation of a unified database of goods produced in Azerbaijan’ dated September 21, 2016.

The portal is functioning under the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication. Its goal is to provide information on the goods of Azerbaijani origin. This portal is an effective platform for the sale of these goods in the foreign and domestic markets.
