The Azerbaijani Electronic Government Development Center has launched the "ASAN Task" project, which will operate as an intranet system within the institution, the Center told Trend on Feb. 10.
According to the Center, this system is aimed at managing projects within the organization and performing tasks related to them.
"The system has the ability to track the entire project from start to finish, as well as each task throughout the entire process of its implementation," the Center said.
Problems that the "ASAN Task" project will solve:
• The emergence of difficulties in determining the priorities of current tasks;
• Incorrect distribution of time in the process of completing tasks;
• Waste of time and paper;
• Tasks related to the implementation and giving of instructions of the organizations.
Moreover, the Center stressed the following advantages of the "ASAN Task" system:
• Separation of tasks by priorities and indication of their current status;
• Ability to clearly see the assigned performers and viewers of the task;
• Correct distribution of time by setting the interval for the beginning and end of the task;
• Possibility of registering difficulty when performing tasks;
• Termination of execution of tasks on paper;
• Elimination of the probability of data loss when performing tasks;
• Minimization of internal misunderstanding by managing tasks through a single system.
Additional features of the "ASAN Task" system:
• Changing the arrangement of panels throughout the system, adding new and removing unnecessary panels, etc.;
• Search for employees on the home page and the ability to view other information, including contact details;
• Ability to receive reports on the performance of the assigned work;
• Tracking specially controlled or deferred tasks.
"The system also has sections containing the information about employees, a notification panel, data storage for general access or personal use, contracts, legal documents, an authorization module, and a number of others,” the Center said.
“The use of the ASAN Task system will ensure a systematic, efficient and coordinated work, which is one of the main factors of modern management," the Center said.
The "Asan Task" system was created by the Electronic Government Development Center under the State Agency for Public Services and Social Innovations under the President of Azerbaijan to efficiently organize the performance of work within complex structures and ensure higher competitiveness by minimizing the loss of all types of resources.
