The level of internet access in Azerbaijan was 78.2 percent in 2020, down by 0.6 percent compared to the previous year, Trend reports on Feb.15 referring to the Internet World Stats (IWS).
“Azerbaijan is ahead of Georgia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan among the states of the South Caucasus and Central Asia in terms of the level of internet access among the population,” said the IWS.
Besides, according to the IWS, the number of internet users in the country reached almost eight million people, which is 0.02 percent more compared to 2019.
