Revenues to the state budget of Azerbaijan from excise taxes on alcoholic products in 2022 are projected at 76.35 million manats ($45 million), Trend reports referring to the draft state budget of Azerbaijan for next year.
According to the document, due to the production of alcoholic beverages, the state budget of Azerbaijan is expected to receive 50.350 million manats ($29.6 million), and 26 million manats ($15.3 million) through imports of alcoholic beverages.
It is noted that, in general, revenues from excise taxes to the state budget of Azerbaijan in 2022 are projected at 160 million manats ($94.1 million).
Revenues to the state budget of Azerbaijan from excise taxes in 9M2021 exceeded 143.5 million manats ($84.4 million) and over 21.6 million manats ($12.7 million) due to excise taxes on alcoholic beverages.
Following the forecast, the revenues to the state budget of Azerbaijan from excise taxes by the end of 2021 will reach 170 million manats ($100 million), while revenues from excise taxes on alcoholic beverages will amount to 20.4 million manats ($12 million).
