Azerbaijan forecasts growth of population’s incomes by 2025

The total income of the population of Azerbaijan in 2022 is projected to make up 63.3 billion manat ($37.2 billion), Trend reports referring to the state budget bill.

According to the document, in 2023, 2024 and 2025, this figure will exceed 68.3 billion manat ($40.18 billion), 73.4 billion manat ($40.18 billion) and 78.7 billion manat ($46.3 billion), respectively.

Thus, the income of the population of Azerbaijan in 2025 will grow by 24.3 percent compared to 2022.

The nominal income of the population of Azerbaijan increased by one percent or 361 million manat ($212.3 million) from January through August 2021, compared to the same period of 2020 - from 36.8 billion manat to nearly 37.2 billion manat ($21.64 billion - $21.88 billion) on annual basis.

At the same time, income per capita increased by 19 manat ($11.1) or 0.7 percent over the year, that is, from 3,693.3 manat or $2,172 [recorded in the first eight months of 2020] to 3,712.3 manat ($2,187).

After the payment of all mandatory and voluntary payments, the income of the population for the reporting period amounted to 33.3 billion manat ($19.6 billion) increasing by 165.1 million manat ($97.1 million) or 0.5 percent compared to the same period of 2020 (33.1 billion manat or $19.4 billion).

Meanwhile, per capita income increased by 1.2 manat (70 cents) or 0.04 percent - from 3,328.2 manat or $1,957.7 [recorded in the first eight months of last year] to 3,329.4 manat ($1,958.4).
