The issues of attracting investments from Azerbaijan to Russia’s Dagestan have been discussed, the Trade Representative of Russia in Azerbaijan Ruslan Mirsayapov told Trend.
The most promising areas are industrial projects, TASED (territories of advancing socio-economic development), tourism infrastructure services, and the agricultural sector.
“Furthermore, on the initiative of the Dagestan side, the possibility of placing a permanent exposition of Dagestan commodity producers in Baku to present the export capabilities of the country is currently under consideration,” said Mirsayapov.
The trade representative outlined that a full-time business mission of Dagestan’s exporters to Azerbaijan is planned for the first quarter of 2022.
“Russian Trade Mission, the representative office of the Russian Export Center and Dagestan will provide the necessary organizational support for Dagestan’s entrepreneurs in negotiations with potential Azerbaijani partners”, he added.
