BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 21. The trade surplus of the carbamide plant of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) amounted to $93 million in the first quarter of 2022, SOCAR First Vice-President Rovshan Najaf said on Twitter, Trend reports.
According to Najaf, the domestic turnover of the plant's products increased by 2.24 times - up to 53.4 million tons, and exports to foreign markets grew by 33 times in value terms and by eight times in volume.
The enterprise, commissioned in January 2019, is capable of producing 2,000 tons of carbamide per day and 660,000 tons per year.
