BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 31. The Marketing and Operations Department of the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) boosted exports by 64.4 percent from January through September 2022 compared to the same period of 2021, the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication of Azerbaijan told Trend.
During this period, the department became one of the leading exporters in Azerbaijan's public sector. Its export value amounted to $453.7 million, growing by $177.7 million against the same period of 2021.
The Marketing and Operations Department of SOCAR ranks first in the Top 10 state-owned non-oil exporters. The agency is followed by SOCAR Polymer, Azeraluminum LLC, AzerGold CJSC, Azercotton AIC LLC, Azerenergy OJSC, Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) CJSC, AzerSilk LLC, SOCAR's Geophysics and Geology Department, and State Energy Service of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
