BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 30. The number of participants of the German-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce (AHK Azerbaijan) is expected to increase in 2023, Tobias Baumann, AHK Executive Director, told Trend.
According to him, at the moment transportation through Russia is becoming more problematic and therefore many companies are engaged in cargo transportation through Azerbaijan. All this, of course, gives German companies the opportunity to work in Azerbaijan.
"We see a growing number of members of the German-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce. This number has been growing since we started working in Azerbaijan, that is, since 2016. When I came to Azerbaijan, we started with 110 companies, and now we have almost 180," Baumann said.
He noted that according to his forecasts, the chamber should reach 200 companies next year and added that this is also a good indicator of the attractiveness of Azerbaijan.
