BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 30. The Marketing and Operations Department of the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) boosted exports from January through November 2022, the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication of Azerbaijan told Trend.
This figure increased by 45.41 percent against the same period of 2021.
During this period, the department became one of the leading exporters in Azerbaijan's public sector. Its export value amounted to $550.1 million, growing by $171.8 million against the same period of 2021.
The Marketing and Operations Department of SOCAR ranks first in the Top 10 state-owned non-oil exporters. The agency is followed by SOCAR Polymer, Azeraluminum LLC, AzerGold CJSC, Azercotton AIC LLC, Azerenergy OJSC, Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) CJSC, AzerSilk LLC, SOCAR's Geophysics and Geology Department, and State Energy Service of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
