TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, May 20. Uzbekistan’s oil, petroleum products, and similar materials trade turnover amounted to $967.7 million from January through April 2024, Trend reports.

According to the data from Uzbekistan’s Statistics Agency, this figure is 23.1 percent higher compared to the same period last year ($686.1 million in January–April 2023).

The exports of oil, petroleum products, and similar materials totaled $179.4 million from January through April 2024, which is 178.5 percent more year-on-year ($64.4 million in January–April 2023).

Uzbekistan’s oil, petroleum products, and similar materials imports reached $788.3 million from January through April 2024, which demonstrates 26.8 percent growth over the year ($621.7 million from January through April 2023).

Meanwhile, from January through March 2024, Uzbekistan traded $676.8 million in oil, petroleum products, and related goods. Year-over-year growth was 23.1 percent ($549.5 million in January–March 2023).

The exports of oil, petroleum products, and similar materials totaled $129.9 million, while imports totaled $546.9 million from January through April 2024.
