BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 21. After an active increase, trade relations between Turkmenistan and France decreased in 2021, but nevertheless, they began to actively increase again, the source at Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union, told Trend.
According to statistics, the trade turnover between Turkmenistan and France in 2019 amounted to more than 103.22 million euros, which is 27 percent more than in 2018 (81.22 million euros) and 29 percent more than in 2020 (79.63 million euros).
Furthermore, in the period from the beginning of 2018 to the end of 2023, the total volume of trade turnover between Turkmenistan and France amounted to 415.4 million euros, which reflects the stable level of trade turnover between the two countries during this time.
After the smallest decrease in 2021, which amounted to 38.1 million euros, trade relations between Turkmenistan and France began to grow actively, amounting to 40.67 million euros in 2022 and 72.7 million euros in 2023.
